The Genlias Monitor is a free service for genealogists who automatically want to receive new additions to Genlias, the database of the Dutch national archives, to complement their genealogy.
I got the message there were too many results, now what?
If Genlias indicates that there were too many searchresults (more than 500) the Genlias Monitor can't determine if there are new results. If it's the first time the search was executed you have too narrow the search, for example by specifying the Source or Province.
If you got the "Too many results" message on a search for which you did receive results earlier, you woud have to narrow the search, plus specify the Monitor ID of the search which gave this message (in the Subscription form in the section "Excluded results"). The results of the old search will then be excluded from the results of the new search.
